Well, I decided to finally take the plunge and go back to school. (Actually, I finally got enough guts to actually do it.) I decided a few years ago that I want to be a nurse when I grow up...kind of ticked off I couldn't figure this out 15 years ago. So, I am taking a Chemistry and Nutrition class at UVU. It has been a big adjustment for me, but I LOVE IT. I really do. I love learning and feeling part of something great and I love that I am doing something. My Super Husband has been really supportive and willing to do anything to help me and I love him more every day. Anyway, wish me luck on my 5-year journey to becoming a nurse. :)

Where were you?
I need to post some pictures but today I just want to say how thankful I am for everything. I was listening to (and crying) the radio this morning after I dropped Dave off and they were playing clips of 9-11. I remember where I was. I got up that morning and got in my car to go pick up Dave and take him to work. I turned on the radio and heard them saying something about towers going down. And, I couldn't figure out what they were talking about...airport tower in Salt Lake? I called Dave (and he was barely awake and had the TV on) and asked him what was going on. We talked the whole time I was driving to his house. He told me it was the World Trade Center towers. Then on the radio I hear them say an airplane just crashed into the Pentagon. When I got to Dave's we just sat together and watched TV...over and over they showed the towers going down and that plane that crashed into the 2nd one. And the screams and the running and the dust and the debris. I think I may have called Diana, too. Then we heard about the plane that went down in Pennsylvania. And now we know they were all connected. What a sad day. I heard this morning that nearly 10,000 children lost a parent that day. It's heartbreaking. And, it doesn't matter how much time passes or how much you believe in an afterlife, losing someone to death still hurts everyday of your life. And you still miss them terribly. It's not something you can just forget about it and get over. It's always going to be a part of your life. I guess I want to say that I am thankful for my beliefs in God and Jesus and an afterlife. I am thankful that families are eternal.
