Snow Angels

We had lots of fun on the day that it actually snowed enough to play and get all snow cold.

Sarah, Ethan, and Frosty

I think it was much more fun to make a snowman as a kid.. When you are the mommy and have to do all the work, it's not somehow different. Hence, the reason Frosty is so small. But, Sarah and Ethan thought it he was great and that is really all that matters.

Ballerina dancing and the art of taking a nap...

So much is happening in the Doerr life. Sarah is our own little ballerina, clogger, and whatever other dance you can think of. She is such a little girl. She is constantly wearing one of her ballerina dress-up skirts. We often wear the leotard out and about. She is funny. We have to get her dance lessons. In Wyoming, Kadee taught her how to clog and now she is trying to teach me. Good luck! Ethan has decided he has to have the TV on to go to sleep, which means he takes a nap in our bed and wants to sleep there at night too. If I don't turn the TV on, every little noise wakes him up and I would rather have the boy sleep a little while.

We had a good Christmas. Santa was good to us. We loved spending time with our family and wish that they lived closer to us. I don't imagine we will be moving to Wyoming anytime soon. Unfortunately, there was no snow in Wyoming, no snow man. As our weatherman would say, it is unseasonably warm. We need some snow.

Our good friends Mike and Heidi had their twins last week and they are very cute. Marcus Lee and Ian Bradley. We welcome them into this world.

catching up

Well, it has been some time since I have posted anything. I can't say that I have been too busy, just kind of lazy I guess. We are all happy and healthy. Sarah is loving preschool and is very excited for Christmas. It is so fun to see her start to understand more about the magic of Christmas and Santa. She tells Ethan to be good or Santa won't bring him any presents. She is very cute. Of course, we are also teaching her what Christmas really means. Ethan is getting very big. He is undoubtedly the cutest little boy in the world. He is very happy and very busy and sometimes a little naughty. He loves his mom and dad and sissy very much. We are heading to Wyoming for Christmas. Sarah is excited to play with her cousins and we are excited to spend time with our family and get out of Provo for a few days. We hope the weather is good ... at least on the days we are traveling. Sarah is very anxious to build a snowman and we haven't had enough snow here and her mom is very bad at making a big snowball... so, I am kind of hoping there is some snow in Wyoming (and not just cold) so Sarah can build a snowman with Kadee. Anyway, I will post more.. and put up more pictures soon.
