I need a little help this year getting into the Christmas spirit. I don't know if it's working retail, or just life, that has left me out in the cold. I have always loved everything about Christmas. But, this year...yikes! I don't even have the Christmas tree up yet and I think I have cursed the lights too many times to count. We are one of the only houses on the street with no lights or decorations on our house and Sarah thinks it is really embarrassing, and quite a travesty. I don't really want to dig out all the decorations out. But, I have to, because I am the mom and Christmas is for kids and I want my kids to be happy. I want my kids to have a happy, warm, good Christmas that they will remember. I am supposed to go to Sarah's class and share a family Christmas tradition. We don't have any traditions! The only thing they remember about last year was the car catching on a fire....now, there's a story. I know this is all very trivial, and lots of people have much more important needs, I was just hoping you could send me a little extra love this year. Because, truly Santa I need you and I still believe in you!

love your new background.
I am in the same boat as you. I cannot feel it this year. I am having Tony's employees here on the 12th so I have to be decorated. I am also the last house in our neighborhood to get decorated. I hope you feel the spirit of Santa and all the Season's greatness soon!
I'm not Santa...but I will send you a little extra love!! I'm sorry Nicky! Is there anything I can possibly do for you? Take you out more often? Make you dinner?
Nicky, here's some love from me!
Don't worry about being late in decorating! My tree is still just a thougt! The lights actually did get put up yesterday (but not at all last year)! Just love those kids. Christmas spirit will follow.
Miss you
oh, I hear ya on that christmas spirit! If I can get through the shopping, baking, working, teaching RS, wrapping, decorating, and all the normal life inbetween, it's hard to have room for the spirit part!!
Hey, Dave! Don't know if you remember Kevin and I but I saw your blog on Kirk Madsen's. I hope you're doing well!
